EMAIL VERIFICATION STATUS:
- Valid: Verified and real emails, which accepts mails.
- Invalid: A bad recipient address that doesn't exist or is not accepting mail.
- Accept All (Unverifiable): Adomain-wide setting where all emails on this domain will be reported as an "accept all". There is no definitive way to determine whether this email is valid or invalid. An accept all address is commonly used in small businesses to ensure a company receives an email that has been sent to them. Oftentimes these are in fact valid emails. However, some organizations may utilize this setting as a security feature to prevent unsolicited emails.
- Unknown: Emails with status impossible to determine. This email appears to be OK, however, the domain and/or server is not responding to our requests. This may be due to an issue with their internal network or expired domain names.
- Disposable: Temporary accounts, used to avoid using a real personal account during a sign-up process. Common providers of disposable emails include Mailinator, Guerilla Mail, AirMail, and 10 Minute Mail.
- Catch-all: A catch-all is a mail server configured to accept all emails sent to the domain, regardless of whether or not the specified mailbox exists.
- Bad Syntax: Malformed or incomplete email addresses are treated as syntax errors and won't be added to your contacts.
- Unverifiable: These are emails that are unverified or can not be verified.
- Not checked
The Erxes platform only sends emails to addresses that have a valid status. If you wish to update the status of the customers and companies emails there are two ways you can do so.
