In the case of erxes widgets (messenger, knowledgebase, popups) you need to place the scripts on your website's code. Keep in mind that the processes for installing a single widget and multiple widgets are different.
Installing multiple widgets
If you plan to use multiple widgets, i.e 2 popup forms, and a messenger, on a single page or throughout your website, you need to use the Script Manager on erxes / Settings. The Script Manager provides you with a consolidated code for all your widgets. It will help you avoid code duplication errors. If you don't use the Script Manager, some of your widgets might not be displayed.
- Create your individual widgets. No need to copy any codes or scripts at this point.
- Go to Settings -> Script Manager
- Choose the widgets you want to display together.
- Copy the script.
- Paste it in your Google Tag Manager as a new tag OR before the body tag on every page you want erxes widgets to appear.
